Low Altitude Aerial Mapping Survey
Step 1: Flight Planning
Using the flight planning application / Ground control station involves the following process
Geographical analysis of the project area for elevation, forest, habitation etc.
Tentative flight planning over Google earth.
Flight planning including flying height, image resolution, overlaps, accuracy requirement etc.
Step 2: Setting Ground Control Points
In order to Increase the accuracy of the maps, the ground control point are taken using Dual Frequency Global Positioning System (DGPS) within 1 CM accuracy evenly spreads over the area planned for aerial survey.
Step 3: Flying Operation
Involves the setup of the UAV system, validation the flight planning, transferring flight plan in auto pilot, takeoff, landing and data transfer from UAV to PC and preliminary validation of captured data
Step 4: Photogrammetry Processing
World class state-of-art Infrastructure with photogrammetry software's, This process involves camera calibration, aerial triangulation, 3D stereo photogrammetry processing for capturing various topographical information and image processing.
